Quentin Tarantino Will Join SDCC Dynamite 10th Anniversary Panel

Turns out Dynamite fans will have even more to be excited about regarding the Dynamite Entertainment 10th Anniversary Panel set to take place this Sunday at San Diego Comic Con. Dynamite recently announced that director Quentin Tarantino as well as writer Matt Wagner will be joining the panel to discuss their upcoming comic book collaboration, Django/Zorro. The crossover (the unusual existence of which we mentioned here on the site awhile back) is set to team up the Spanish sword fighter with Tarantino’s latest film character, formerly enslaved bounty hunter Django from the film Django Unchained. The comic will act as a sequel of sorts with the two characters pairing up to bring their own brand of justice to the wild west.

In an official press release from Dynamite, Tarantino said of the collaboration, “I’m very, very excited about both this story and the opportunity to work with Matt. It was reading his Zorro stories that convinced me what a good idea it was to join these two icons together. The story idea we came up with is thrilling, and I think it will be an exciting new chapter for both characters.”

For those in attendance at SDCC that would like to hear more, the Dynamite 10th Anniversary Panel will take place on Sunday, July 27 from 2:15-3:15 pm in Room 6BCF.
