In an interview with USA Today, Robinson says “”What I hope to do is tie in their past without making it too referential and (touch on) how the past can affect the future…While I’m not reinventing the book, I’m certainly adding a side to it we maybe haven’t seen for a while.” From reading the interview, it’s clear Robinson is a huge Fantastic Four fan. The family is in good hands. While the focus will be on Doctor Doom, Robinson hopes to explore all the famous villains.
I was a gigantic fan of Fractions FF run, and while I’m happy to hear they’re keeping Scott Lang and Darla Deering around, that news means we probably won’t get a new Future Foundation series for a long time. Sad. Still, with Robinson paying homage to all the other writers, hopefully we get this generations defining Fantastic Four run.
