Marvel Movies and Star Wars Are Moving to Disney’s Streaming Service

Disney’s streaming service is getting a boost from the company itself.

The Mouse House has announced that the as yet untitled “Disney‘s streaming service” will be getting some major titles. It seems like the speculation is over as to how Disney will handle it’s partnership with Netflix. They’ve decided to move most of their major titles such as Marvel’s MCU movies and Star Wars movies to their announced streaming service.

This continues a trend towards major networks like CBS, Warner Brothers and others launching their own streaming services. Rather than consolidating around established services like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon. While it’s still unclear how many of these services that consumers will pay for, but Disney appears to have the upper hand.

No apparent word on what will happen to TV series like Daredevil and the other Defenders.
