So you may be wondering why this has somehow fallen into the realm of comic based game reviews and curiosities. Well, cuz Batman. His character becomes a pretty prominent part of the game and story line. However he is not the same Batman you may know. More on this later. For now let’s talk about some particulars.

Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and PC. So, pretty much everything and its mom.

Varies on so many factors.

Play modes:
Story mode (hilarious), free play (gettin them extras), single player, and same console co-op. Fantastic.

90 or so from all kinds of sources including many comic book characters. Like Batman. The jerk boyfriend Batman.

Now to talk about the goodies. This game introduces focuses on the role of “Master Builders” and so this game introduces the Lego build sheets/instructions as a part of the game. If you’ve played the Google Build game by Lego, then you’ll have some experience with this game. It’s basically just find the missing part in your selection wheel within a time frame to get extra studs. It’s a really fun concept, but I would have liked it to be more about building the object instead of just a piece of it. However, it served its purpose as a fun little side game. They made an improvement to the character switching method by adding a wheel, but the standard switching method is horrible. Now onto the super side.
Batman is a punk and I love him. He was hilarious and was such a punk! He apparently loves dub step and awful DJ music. Man I loved this version of Batman, it was like this horrible edition of “What if”.
Having said that, the super side of this was really just phoned in. You get to play as some Justice League characters at one point, but it’s nothing to write home about.

So my rating…
B. Solid B. B for Batman being such a chump boyfriend.

Final thought is this: If you want super heroes go for Lego Marvel. Obvious I know.
