Before I begin my praise of this game, I’d like to give a few details.
.
It’s published by Warner Bros. Entertainment in 2013 and is available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo 3ds, PS Vita, and Wii U. If it’s on that many consoles it should be decent.
.
Prices vary depending on where you buy it, seeing as how it’s been out for awhile.
.
It’s split screen co-operative as well as single player. The split screen has a standard and a moving option. The moving option will make you sick if you aren’t careful. My buddy and I found ourselves ready to throw up as we tried to discover the mystery behind a door switch.
.
Now for the praise. This game has over 100 unlockable Marvel Universe based characters. Stan Lee is awesome and so is Venom (he can change from a small agile character with super sense to a big hulk like powerhouse). The game has a great story line with so many hilarious puns. This game isn’t just designed for kids. The story line mode will drive you through the story, but it’s the open New York City map and the free play that will keep you coming back. The New York City map is huge and there are so many hidden finds. Characters, puzzles, special levels, and much more. You can fly around the map as Iron Man or many others or if you prefer, you can take a vehicle for a spin. However, I don’t recommend it. Seriously, the controls are incredibly hard to master and there are races that you need to beat with these horrible vehicles. Deadpool is a constant presence and he fills your gaming life with hilarity. I love going around town and rescuing the “evil villain” Stan Lee from all of the sticky situations he finds himself in. Excelsior!
.
Honestly, this is a game for everyone. If someone tells you they don’t like this game, never trust them again. I give it a 9 out of 10. There were some wonky control issues and no Adam Warlock.
.
All this game needs to do is put a store option in the menu where you can purchase Lego Marvel sets and individual characters for real life while you unlock them.
.
VERDICT: 9.5 out of 10.

A for Adam Warlock who needs to appear in that game.
