This issue of Rat Queens shows us the battle finale and the repercussions of said battle. There are some super B.A. moments with Hannah, and Betty gets a few highlights as well. But other than that, this week’s issue of Rat Queens seemed a little drab.
I’m betting that every single issue can’t be a five-out-of-five rating, and I also believe that were this any other series I would have been perfectly satisfied but when you have your favorite in front of you, you hold it to a different standard. I got awesome one-liners from Hannah, a little bit of background on Dee, but I just felt like this was a transition. So that means, I’m expecting a whole lot from the next issue Kurtis Wiebe and Roc Upchurch.
On one last note, I think it’s amazing that I like this series so much that even after I’ve read it for the advance review I’m still super stoked to get my hands on an actual issue.
