ac19cover“ACTION COMICS #19”
Action Comics, DC’s flagship title, has been under a great deal of scrutiny in the last week. With the departure of writer Andy Diggle and subsequent tumult, it is yet unknown exactly how this title will shake out. This issue may well be the centerpiece of an ongoing argument, depending on its quality. Pick it up and join the conversation!

GREEN_ARROW_19“GREEN ARROW #19”
With the introduction of a the new creative team composed of Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino, “Green Arrow” has shown intriguing premise with innovative art; but this is a title on the bubble due to its previous inconsistent showing. If the creative team can commit to the changes they’ve hinted at then this book should be well worth it.

If you enjoy Andy Diggle’s writing and you’re looking for a book that he’s sure not to leave, look no further than the penultimate issue of this modern murder mystery. Issue 1 is beyond intriguing and Issue 2 wonderfully captures the modern mindset; I can’t wait to see where they take this story

micetemplarlegend#1“THE MICE TEMPLAR: LEGEND #1”
According to Jeff’s second Advance Review:

“The Mice Templar: Legend #1″ is exploring the middle centuries (think King Arthur/Excalibur) sword and sorcery formula. I like Glass & Oeming approach the purpose of this order of brave mice , and really the center of the story, by discussing the need for balance in the “natural world”.
