OCT120355“THE CROW: SKINNING OF THE WOLVES #1”
This marks the first time that original Crow creator James O’Barr will be collaborating on a Crow book since the original Crow comic. The original book was very brutal and graphic, and it will be interesting to see how O’Barr approaches the character and concept of the Crow after so many years away from the title.

GrendelOmnibusV2GRENDEL OMNIBUS VOLUME 2: THE LEGACY
552 pages of Grendel story for the low price of $24.99. Going along with that nice bang for your buck, Volume 2 takes a look at the legacy that Hunter Rose started for the Grendel identity as it affects his adopted daughter Stacy’s life and Stacy’s own daughter Christine Spar. Matt Wagner’s creation comes back with a vengeance as he delivers some of his own artwork and a collection of Grendel books reprinted in the black, white, and red art that has become a staple for all things Grendel. Already have the previous trades? Don’t worry, this edition will demand for a place next to them on your book shelf.

OCT120493REVIVAL VOLUME 1: YOU’RE AMONG FRIENDS TPB
Tim Seeley and Mike Norton’s twisted and completely out-of-left field take on the undead returning to a small Wisconsin town is one of the most gorgeous and intriguing books of the year. They play up their knowledge of the setting for maximum effect, drawing the reader into the feeling of wintry isolation that permeates the book. This sense of place makes the series’ premise that much more frightening, as it brings some chilling thoughts to your own front door.
