Warner Brothers Taps ARROW Showrunner to Bring INFINITE HORIZON to the Big Screen

Today Variety’s Justin Kroll reported that veteran Arrow showrunner Greg Berlanti has been tapped by Warner Brother to bring Image Comics’ Infinite Horizon.

Originally conceived by either Gerry Duggan and artist Phil Noto, Infinite Horizon is a modern-day science fiction retelling of Homer’s Odyssey. It tells the classical tale of the nameless warrior attempting to return home at the conclusion of a conflict, only to find himself forced to go through every conceivable mystical obstacle which each extends the journey by months or years.

The project will be shepherded by Berlanti as Producer with Ryan Condal serving as Executive Producer. Condal was also responsible for adapting Duggan’s graphic novel for screen.

No casting decisions have been made, but speculation is sure to start soon after the announcement. The studio has also yet to set a timeline for release.
