Stargate Atlantis returns to Pegasus

In news that first broke on Bleeding Cool, the fan favourite television series Stargate Atlantis is making a comeback in the new ongoing series Return to Pegasus. Ever since Stargate Atlantis final episode ended on a cliffhanger, fans have been clamouring for another season. For the time being, a new comic book series will be the only way fans can get answers to their questions of what happened after the end of the fifth season.

STL001481-600x911The new season will be published by American Mythology, and feature the creative team of Mark L. Haynes, J. C. Vaughn and Greg LaRocque. In the official press release for the newly announced series, a promise is made that the book will continue the continuity of the original show, hinting that fans of the show will get answers left by the cliffhanger ending in the final episode. The original show ran for five seasons from 2004 to 2009, and starred Joe Flanigan, Rachel Luttrell, David Hewlett, and Jason Momoa.
