PREVIEWS: First Look at STAR-LORD #1 From Marvel

With the success of the Guardians of the Galaxy film, Marvel Entertainment has been pushing the characters to the forefront of its comic book publishing division. Having seen good results with Rocket Raccoon and Groot, the publisher has launched a new series starring Peter “Starlord” Quill from Sam Humphries and Javier Garron.

Launching next month, the Starlord solo series will tell Quill’s origin story within the re-established Marvel universe.

A Star(-Lord) is born in STAR-LORD #1!


New York, NY—October 26th, 2015 — The child of a doomed romance between a Human and a Spartax. The man who would become the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
