Locke & Key has found its Locke for the Hulu adaptation.

Hulu‘s upcoming adaptation of Locke & Key has finally cast its Locke for the TV show they’ve been developing. They’ve cast Frances O’Connor in the title role. While there doesn’t appear to be any word on the other roles, we can expect announcements in the not too distant future. Her credits include A.I. Artificial Intelligence from Stephen Spielberg, The Missing and The Conjuring 2.

The comic tells the story of siblings who move home and find magical keys that give them powers. O’Connor will play the mother to the three siblings who moves the family to Maine after her husband’s slaying. The role was played by Miranda Otto in the failed 2011 Fox pilot.
