If you’ve come this far, you’re obviously someone who loves comics and has something to say. There are probably a hundred comic book news sites and blogs which would love to have you create content for them, so why become a Capeless Crusader? What makes this site different from every other site?
At Capeless Crusader, we place a premium on cooperation, collaboration, planning, social awareness, and inclusion.
What does that mean?
It means that we truly value our writers’ contributions and personal voices. We will never censor your opinions, so long as they’re well-though-out, well-reasoned, respectful, and well-written. We believe that it is important to feature every voice from across the spectrum. We want to raise the level of discourse and help the comics community evolve.
With that in mind, check out some of the open positions below, find one best suited to you, and send us your best sample!
There are dozens and dozens of comic book and comic book-related news stories which break each and every day, and we are always looking for people to help us cover them! News writers often get access to creators for interviews, and will be able to obtain press passes for local conventions under the Capeless Banner!
We are ALWAYS looking for new reviewers! Each week we receive advance review copies from nearly every independent comics publisher you can think of, and though our team of reviewers is awesome, there are more books than we could POSSIBLY hope to cover. If you want to add your voice to the mix, apply now!
With all the independent comics show being brought to television (The Walking Dead, Lucifer, iZombie, Sex Criminals), we’re looking for someone to stretch their TV-reviewing legs. If any or all of these shows are up your alley, consider joining us as a reviewer!
If you have strong opinions on comics and want a place to shout them, we’d love to hear from you! Your application should include a pitch for your column and a writing sample!
