Jackman and Mangold to Return for Third Wolverine Film

According to a report from Deadline, actor Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold have committed to a third solo film starring Jackman as Wolverine.

The pair’s last outing, The Wolverine, was a commercial success for 20th Century Fox, turning a worldwide profit of $281.2 Million for the studio, so it is no surprise to see them return to the well.

The film is in very early stages, but the article goes on to state that Mangold will be doing the treatment , while Lauren Schuler Donner will be producing.

It will be interesting to see how Jackman’s take on the character changes in a post-DOFP Fox Cinematic X-Verse, so this film will definitely bear watching.
