Irredeemable Movie In Development

Twentieth Century Fox has acquired the film rights to BOOM! Studios 37-issue series Irredeemable, by writer Mark Waid and artist Peter Krause.

Irredeemable centered on Plutonian who was once the world’s greatest superhero. He eventually snapped, took control of the Earth, and ruled it with an iron and bloody fist. Plutonian’s former super team, the Paradigm, is the only force remaining willing to put a stop to his madness. In their desperation, the Paradigm turns to one of the world’s most notorious villains for help.

Tommy Wirkola (Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters) is set to write the film, with Adam McKay (Ant-Man) set to direct.

BOOM! Studios’ Ross Richie and Stephen Christy will produce the film alongside McKay, Gary Sanchez, and Kevin Messick.

I’m a fun loving geek from New York who loves all things nerdy including games, film, books, and comics. I’ve been writing since I was in high school and plan on doing so for as long as I can. I’ve also written a few comics of my own and hope to work on my own book or comic series one day. I am also a co-host on the Grindhouse Radio where host a segment called Kevin’s Corner where I talk about movies and comics. You can read more of my work over at my own blog, Kev's Corner.
