Marvel has just announced the second book in their Original Graphic Novel initiative (which we covered previously at Capeless Crusader, here) as Spider-Man: Family Business penned by two Eisner award winning authors, Mark Waid (Daredevil, Kingdom Come) and James Robinson (Starman, Earth-2), with artwork by Gabriele Dell’otto. Someone has their sights set on Spider-Man and it’s taking its toll on him, but to make matters worse Peter Parker discovers that he has a sister he never even knew about! While Kingpin is stacking his chips to create the largest criminal organization the Marvel Universe has ever seen, Spider-Man has to figure out if he can trust his newly discovered sibling or if she’s going to be a thorn in his side. Taken from the comforts of the big apple, Spider-Man will tread international waters and face one of the hardest challenges he’s faced in a long time. Excited? I know I am.
Like with Marvel’s Avengers: Endless Wartime, Spider-Man: Family Business will included a digital download code and be released worldwide and in several different languages on April 2nd, 2014.
