IDW Publishing has announced via AV Club, that the Shredder’s mutant henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady will be headlining their very own five-part weekly miniseries.
The miniseries titled Bebop & Rocksteady Destroy Everything will be written by Dustin Weaver and Ben Bates. Bates will do the art for the first issue while each subsequent issue will have a different artist attached to it. Issue #2 will be drawn by Sophie Campbell and Giannis Milonogiannis, #3 by Damian Couceiro, #4 by Nick Pitarra, and #5 by Ryan Browne.
This series claims to be “the most ambitions event yet” according to the A.V. Club. The story will be filled with time travel as the duo will be touching down in a variety of time periods and interacting with their past selves, baby ninja turtles, soldiers during WWII, and even the far future, where they might or might not still exist. It promises to be a fun ride where the fate of the universe is put in the hands of none other than Bebop and Rocksteady.
