Hawkins and Ekedal’s THINK TANK may be headed for TV

After the success of shows like The Walking Dead, Arrow, Daredevil, and others, it’s not all that surprising for networks to look into translating more comics into a live action episodic series. From the looks of it, we might be getting another one soon to join the ranks of projects like Southern Bastards and Sex Criminals.

According to a post by Matt Hawkins on his Facebook page this morninga book of his will soon get an official announcement from a TV studio.

“Well, well, so it seems we’ll have not ONE but TWO announcements for TV series being picked up based on some of our stuff. Expect formal announcements soon, but since I’m not allowed to reveal it just yet let me just tell you that you can “think your tank is in the mail.”

Judging by Hawkins’choice of words in the last sentence, we can assume that one of the two announcements may have to something to do with his series Think Tank.

Published by Top Cow Productions, Think Tank by Matt Hawkins and Rahsan Ekedal follows the story of Dr. David Loren, a child prodigy, inventor, genius, slacker, and possible mass murderer. When a military think tank’s smartest scientist decides that he can no longer stomach creating weapons of destruction, will he be able to think his way out of his dilemma or find himself subject to the machinations of smaller men?

At the moment, there have been no official announcements on whether Think Tank has been officially picked up, but we will keeping an eye open on this as the story unfolds.
