Hack/Slash Set to Become a TV Series

The horror comic known as Hack/Slash was originally set to become a movie but now it’s going to be adapted into an ongoing television series instead.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will be produced by Relativity Television and penned by Skip Woods (Swordfish and Hitman) who will also executive produce it alongside Adrian Askarieh and Ray Ricord with Daniel Alter and Geoffrey Yim signed on as co-exec producers.

Hack/Slash, created by Tim Seeley and Stefano Caselli, tells the story of Cassie Hack, a disturbed girl who travels the country as a “killer of killers” that hunts down slashers similar to Michael Myers and Freddie Krueger.

The studio is currently seeking directors and plans to make the show into a gritty series along the lines of AMC’s The Walking Dead.

I’ve also written a few comics of my own and hope to work on my own book or comic series one day. I am also a co-host on the Grindhouse Radio where host a segment called Kevin’s Corner where I talk about movies and comics. You can read more of my work over at my own blog, Kev's Corner.
