FLASH Ratings Slip for “Escape from Earth-2”

It’s been a bit of a roller-coaster ride for CW’s The Flash in February, as ratings crested to an all-time high last week, but came back to Earth a bit with the conclusion of the Earth-2 story arc.

After gathering in 3.96 million viewers for the first installment of Team Flash’s visit to an alternate reality (and likely buoyed by news of an impending crossover with CBS’ Supergirl), viewership slipped slightly to 3.87 million viewers for this week.

This is by no means a sign of trouble for the show, which remains The CW network’s top-rated program among the coveted 18-49 demographic. Ratings may have also taken a slight hit among fans who weren’t sure if a new episode was airing this week, as several shows went to reruns following Monday night’s Grammy broadcast on CBS.
