The Los Angeles-based independent comic book publisher announced today that the second issue of Chris Sebela and Jonathan Brandon Sawyer‘s assassin mystery tale has sold out at a distributor level and will be returning to print for a second edition. In addition, the first issue will also be going back to press for a third time.
Sales on Welcome Back have been solid for BOOM, with the debut issue charting just outside of Diamond Comic Distributor’s Top 200 at just over 8,300 copies sold.
The small initial run seems to have worked well, as the book debuted to solid reviews, driving demand from readers who took a wait-and-see approach.
In a press release, BOOM stated that the new editions would reach comic book shop shelves on December 2nd, 2015.

As Mali wakes up in her newest life, she suddenly becomes self-aware and starts to question everything, especially why she continues to fight. But elsewhere, Tessa is already on the hunt… In issue #2, as Tessa flies to America to continue hunting her target, Mali learns the ropes of being a soldier while the memories of hundreds of past lives weigh on her mind.
