StarWars2“STAR WARS #2”
While Brian Wood may have struggled a little bit out the gate in terms of characterization, there is no better title out there in terms of capturing the hopeful, carefree spirit of the Episode IV than this book. This is as close to “real” Star Wars as we’re going to get until the new films start coming out, so do yourself a favor and give this one a look.

This alternate-history science fiction epic continues to astonish. Hickman’s rogue scientists have beaten back the greatest threat to their new world order, and now stand poised on the precipice of an uncertain future. Where they go from here is anyone’s guess, but the ride is sure to be thrilling.

Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips continue their supernatural fantasy epic. The pair have demonstrated a firm command of the genre, and are finally beginning to put the puzzle pieces together.
