It has been confirmed that Emily Blunt has joined the cast for the upcoming animated feature My Little Pony: The Movie. Blunt will join a cast including Kristin Chenoweth, Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain, and Ashleigh Ball. The Golden Globe winning actress was last seen on the big screen in the highly acclaimed Scicario, and will next brace a theater near you in The Huntsman alongside Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, and Jessica Chastain.
My Little Pony: The Movie, which will be directed by Jayson Theissen, isn’t Blunt’s first venture into voice acting as she voiced Juliet in Gnomeo & Juliet (2011), a role she is set to repeat in Gnomeo & Juliet: Sherlock Gnomes (2018).
